Tour de Moon invites you to the free Music Incubator Programme Symposium in collaboration with the charity University of the Underground, commissioned by UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK.

This free invite will grant access to a symposium with industry folk, artists, and international practitioners on the 20th of October from 13:00 - 18:00 at the Dalston Jazz Bar.

The Music Incubator Programme is focused on skills development to equip participants with some fundamentals and support the production of participants musical projects. This is a programme targeted towards former Tour de Moon participants and artists – but it is also open virtually to visiting participants.

A selected group of participants will write, record, build community and document their world, while working with a network of music collaborators, receiving feedback and guidance from University of the Underground tutors. This is an opportunity to develop their music within the critical context of the University of the Underground.

The Free Music Incubator Programme is a development programme that will build upon musical encounters made during our free nationwide festival Tour de Moon.

Over this 2-month music-based development programme Tour de Moon former artists and participants will produce EPs, podcasts, publications and creative interventions. They will be asked to document their processes and present their findings and outcomes as a part of the final show.

Please note this event is for over 18s only and you will be required a valid form of ID (Acceptable forms of ID are a valid passport, photo driving license, or National Identity Card. Driving licenses without a photo or student cards are not accepted.)
