Westy is a staple to the Newcastle underground scene and a familiar face within the Ape-x roster for the past four years. They regularly play at venues such as World Headquarters, Cobalt Studios and Cosmic Ballroom, as well as hosting a show on Slack’s radio ‘The Main Ingredient’. Westy’s infectious sound has become synonymous with uplifting house and techno, and is deeply aligned with early hip hop, funk and world music influences.
