Synopsis:
Midsummer Night's Skeen
‘Midsummer Night's Skeen’ is a short play/staged party that explores the power of collective dancing and its emancipatory possibilities. Taking place during the covid lockdown, Midsummer Night's Skeen is a surreal, hyperised recount of an illegal forest rave that is ingrained in the memory of all those who attended. Acting as a saving grace in a time when social lives and human interaction were highly policed, this rave was an escape for one night, a saving grace.
