Harvinder Rathore, also known as Harvey (she/her), is a British-Punjabi young woman from Southampton. 
 
Harvey works for a corporate charity and also volunteers within her local community through a radio show and community garden. As someone who is heavily invested in her community, Harvey is passionate about amplifying the stories and voices of those who aren’t always heard. She enjoys live music, visiting art galleries and the theatre - as well as spending time with loved ones. 
 
Before recent, Harvey had never really deemed herself an artist, however, whilst recovering from Covid, she embraced her creativity through painting. It became a sanctuary for her whilst in lockdown and beyond. This is her first piece of work she has created and she is immensely proud of her efforts, as are her friends and family. 
 
From a young age, Harvey had always been fascinated with the night sky, especially the moon and constellation and this fascination amplified further when she studied astronomy at school. She hopes you enjoy her art as much as she enjoyed creating it.
