Andrea (she/her) is a graphic designer and artist with a focus on research and storytelling. Born in Spain and raised in Chile, currently based in Berlin. She is interested in how site-specific work can emerge from a feeling of displacement. Following this, she began to tell stories through the exploration of traces, and their materiality. These stories are told through voices of objects, monuments, land, mountains, sand, and water. Respectfully the stories find their form mostly in video installations and publications. Simultaneously she is busy writing spells with her research collaborator Laila Saber Rodriguez in their collective Cruda.
